I would like to thank Spectra Colour Consultants for assisting me in choosing my colours when I was building my new home.
The consultant was able to co-ordinate all of the colours so beautifully and everything looks great.
I was assisted with the co-ordination of the following:
- Paint colours throughout including feature wall colours in all rooms
- Floor and wall tiles and feature tile to bathroom
Any existing colours in furniture, wall hangings etc were taken into account when deciding the colour scheme.
By using Spectra Colour Consultants to assist in a lot of the decision making with regards to the colours, it was a lot easier process. First, we decided on a theme for the home and then a colour scheme was decided upon that would ensure continuity throughout the home, whilst still maintaining individual areas of interest. The colour scheme works well with the timber furniture and timber floors. The feature walls to the bedrooms highlighted the colours in the doona/bedspread covers.
The Colour Consultant took into account all of my preferences and kept an open mind with regards to the possibilities.
The overall look is very pleasing to the eye.

The exterior paint job on my house has been completed and it looks terrific. It has been much admired by neighbours and friends and is certainly the most eye catching in the street.
The various greys take on different hues at different times of the day so it is a living scheme and always interesting.
The black gloss front door is stunning and has created exactly the character I was seeking. I discovered that the door fittings (handle, knob, etc) were actually solid brass but had been lacquered and had tarnished under the lacquer. After removing the lacquer, I was able to polish the fittings to gleaming brass. You can imagine how great that looks on the black door.
